Julie Laffin has devised an unexpected performance in a car. Meg Duguid is in the Electrodes. Saul Aguirre will be performing a tribute to the land of corn. Korean performance artist, Gim Gwang Cheol will conjure poeticimages. The evening will begin with Follow Me to the Sea, written and directed by Walkabout company member Emma Stanton, involving ten scenes between a man and a peacock taking place simultaneously in ten different restaurants along Milwaukee and Division and then coming together at the Polish Triangle (Division/Milwaukee/Ashland). The other performances will continue at DEFIBRILLATOR. The Chicago Calling Arts Festival is presented by the Borderbend Arts Collective. $10 suggested donation at dfb gallery.
